Water Street Redevelopment Anchor

USF Health - Morsani College of Medicine

USF Heath Morsani College of Medicine opened its doors in January 2020 to the next generation of physicians. Morsani College of Medicine focuses on transformative medical educations in areas of Physical and Rehabilitation services, Physicians Assistant Programs, Athletic Training, Residency and Fellowship Training and Medical Engineering.

The 13-story tower serves as the anchor of the $13 Billion redevelopment of the Water Street District funded by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik.

Open Controls Systems Florida and Validated Custom Solutions Florida completed installations to the 395,000 square foot building. OCS provided a complete controls project including engineering, programming, installation and checkout of Alerton and Tridium systems along with Phoenix air valves for the lab spaces. VCS installed Aerco boilers for HVAC reheat and Aerco smartplates for domestic hot water.
Water Street Redevelopment is designed as a place where people, productivity and wellness align. All 10 buildings that are part of the development’s first phase are set to be finished in early 2022.
